چکیده
Millimeter wave communication is eminently suitable for high-rate wireless systems, which may be beneficially amalgamated with intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS), while relying on beam-index modulation. Explicitly, we propose three different architectures based IRSs modulation in millimeter communication. Our schemes are capable of eliminating the detrimental line-of-sight blockage frequencies. The termed as single-symbol beam index modulation, multi-symbol and maximum-SNR The principle behind these to embed information both classic QAM/PSK symbols transmitter beam-pattern. proposed use a twin-IRS structure construct low-cost scheme. We conceive optimal maximum likelihood detector low-complexity compressed sensing schemes. Finally, designed evaluated through extensive simulations results compared our analytical bounds.

Optimal Beam Sweeping and Communication in Mobile Millimeter-Wave Networks
Millimeter-wave (mm-wave) communications incur a high beam alignment cost in mobile scenarios such as vehicular networks. Therefore, an efficient beam alignment mechanism is required to mitigate the resulting overhead. In this paper, a one-dimensional mobility model is proposed where a mobile user (MU), such as a vehicle, moves along a straight road with time-varying and random speed, and commu...

Various techniques for producing narrow pulse ( f 5 ns) modulation of millimeter wave tubes, such as extended interaction amplifiers, magnetrons, and traveling-wave tubes, are discussed. In order to achieve the narrow pulsewidth, the switch, pulse forming circuitry, as well as the tube interface, must satisfy very stringent requirements. In particular, the switch must operate at kilovolt (kV) l...
